Kiosk Workers Aren't Volunteers

To the Editor:

Thank you for your well written article acknowledging the 10th anniversary of the Roosevelt Island Historical Society (RIHS). You captured the spirit of the Visitors’ Center and the richness of the Island history the RIHS seeks to preserve. Well done.​ I would like to make a correction regarding the status of the individuals working in the Kiosk: They are paid contractors, not volunteers.
